Job Title: Secondary Teacher (STEM) All Saints Grammar, BELMORE, NSW Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position, Full Time Applications Close: 24 November 2025 Position commences: Term 1 2026 We are seeking a full‑time permanent STEM Teacher to teach Stage 4 & 5 Science and Stage 4 & 5 Technology, with the capacity to support Stage 6 STEM pathways. Ability to teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering Studies is considered an advantage. General Responsibilities Teach Stage 4 & 5 Science and Stage 4 & 5 Technology. Support and implement the vision of the school. Apply best practice teaching and learning strategies in line with the school's pedagogical framework. Engage in ongoing professional development. Support school priorities and pillars of Faith, Excellence and Respect. Adhere to Child Protection and WHS policies. Conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner. Participate in supporting the Christian Ethos of the School. Fulfil duty‑of‑care obligations. Manage homeroom of approximately 20 students in Years 7–12. Work within school hours 08:00–15:45 Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri and 08:00–17:00 Thursday for meetings; afternoon duties once fortnightly 15:15–15:45. Desired Skills and Knowledge Tertiary qualification in Education. Experience teaching Stage 4 & 5 Science, delivering inquiry‑based learning aligned to NSW curriculum outcomes. Experience teaching Stage 4 & 5 Technology, integrating practical skills, design thinking, and safe use of workshop/lab environments. Capacity to contribute to Stage 6 STEM pathways, ability to teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering Studies (advantageous). Experience with NESA new syllabuses. Strong communication skills. Digital literacy in pedagogical application. Ability to develop stimulating learning environment. Evidence of effective evaluation of teaching activities. Experience assessing and reporting on student progress and classroom management.
