New Position in a Growing Company Seeking experienced precision‑driven First Class CNC Machinist Working with our sister company – TJM Engineering Quality tradesperson TJM Engineering is expanding and we’re looking for a highly skilled tradesperson to join our experienced team. What You’ll Do Operate and maintain CNC machines to the highest safety and quality standards Work with fine tolerances and ensure precision in every component Apply a deep understanding of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications Set up fixtures, tooling, and jigs with accuracy and attention to detail Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and slip gauges Write and verify CNC/CAD programs, including setup sheets for new jobs Continuously monitor part quality and drive process improvements Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to streamline processes Mentor apprentices and junior team members, sharing your experience and standards Maintain detailed production records and a clean, organized work area What We’re Looking For Australian Trade Qualification as a First Class Machinist (essential) Minimum 3 years’ experience operating high‑speed, multi‑axis CNC machines Proven ability to work to tight tolerances and production deadlines Strong understanding of OH&S and quality systems Solid communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Current C‑Class Driver’s License Availability to work shift work, flexible roster available for right person Visa Sponsorship may be available for right person – Kalgoorlie local only Why Join TJM Engineering Work with a team that values craftsmanship and innovation Be part of a growing company with career advancement opportunities Enjoy a supportive, safety‑focused workplace Your skills will be recognized, and your input will help shape how we grow If you’re ready to join a company that values your expertise and rewards your commitment, we’d love to hear from you.
