Based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, our client is a well established organisation in the FMCG sector. An iconic business with a proud heritage, they have recently gone through a significant period of change. As the business enters an exciting phase, they are well placed for future growth and strong performance. The Role Reporting directly to a dynamic, supportive and driven Senior Finance Business partner, you will be an important member of a high performing team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving business performance, and influencing operational decision‑making. Your role will involve budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will act as a trusted business partner to senior leaders across the organisation. Key tasks will include, but wont be restricted to: budgeting and strategic forecasting Provide strategic financial insights and scenario analysis to support Executive decision‑making. Act as a business partner to divisional leaders to drive financial performance and accountability. Drive cost management, margin analysis, and financial optimisation initiatives across the business. Support financial oversight of CAPEX and operational expenditures Oversee financial governance and internal controls Deliver meaningful and actionable financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders Inventory valuation, GRNI, and supply chain reporting. Champion financial process innovation and automation to enhance efficiency and reporting quality. Represent Finance in cross‑functional projects and strategic planning initiatives. The Successful Candidate CA/ CPA qualified and with a relevant business / commerce degree, you will have previous experience working in either a Management Accounting or Business partnering role in a fast paced, high performing organisation. Previous experience within the FMCG sector will be looked upon favourably, but is not essential. Alternatively, you may be working in a Financial Accounting role and have had aspects of Management Accounting experience and looking to develop your skills in these areas. You will thrive in building strong working relationships across the business. Tech savvy, you will have strong Excel skills and have had previous exposure to a large ERP system.
