THE COMPANY Waterama Pool & Spa is well known in the Swimming Pool Industry with 2 Retail Swimming Pool Shops on the Northside of Brisbane, at Albany Creek and Bribie Island, plus In Field Service Vehicles and a Swimming Pool Construction business. We provide a healthy stable work environment and enjoy people working with us who are honest, hard working, have a sense of humour, enjoy communicating and get on well with their peers. We offer training to candidates at varying levels to assist them to reach the potential of their job. THE ROLE To attend different properties (via a supplied motor vehicle) for the purpose of carrying out regular services to swimming pools, maintenance and installation of equipment on swimming pools and home irrigation systems and pumps. Key Responsibilities Clean & Service swimming pools - Both Residential & Commercial Test pool water and add necessary chemicals Clean and service Pool equipment Install Pool Equipment Install Irrigation or Tank Pumps Diagnose faults & problems Install Spare Parts THE CANDIDATE While we may give preference to persons who have swimming pool or irrigation experience, persons with other experience who have the ability to work unsupervised should not be deterred from applying. Training will be provided. Traits Required to be Successful Have a manual driver’s license Present well in appearance and dress standards Be well spoken & articulate and able to communicate with customers Be reasonably computer literate. Have a keen attention to detail - pick up on things others may not Be able to work unsupervised Training Training will be given to a successful applicant who does not have the necessary swimming pool experience, but demonstrates an ability and desire to learn. Remuneration A competitive industry salary package above the average is on offer Includes a fully maintained motor vehicle Remuneration is also consistent with experience.
