About the RoleProvide expert inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth geriatric care, including GEM units, Orthogeriatrics, RACF outreach and specialist clinics. Deliver medical leadership as Clinical Lead, supporting advanced trainees, registrars and junior doctors. Partner with the Clinical Director to drive service innovation, including Geri-Connect, and the new RADAR (Rapid Assessment of the Deteriorating Aged at Risk) service. Play a key role in education, clinical governance and workforce development. Commitment to innovative, patient-centred models of care. Key Selection Criteria EssentialSpecialist Registration: A qualified medical practitioner registered (or eligible for registration) as a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Fellowship: Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine, or an equivalent recognised qualification. Experience: Proven 7+ years of clinical experience as a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, with demonstrated capacity to manage clinical, non-clinical, and managerial responsibilities.
