What You’ll Be Doing As part of a close‑knit, multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide meaningful care to people across regional Queensland, including children, families, and adults who may not otherwise have access to specialist health services. Your work will include: Administering standardised and informal assessments Delivering evidence‑based therapy for communication and swallowing disorders Supporting clients with developmental delays, disabilities, and acquired conditions Implementing early childhood intervention strategies with a family‑centred approach Collaborating with other health professionals to provide holistic, community‑based care Whether you’re based in Mount Isa, Townsville, or Longreach, you’ll make a lasting impact in rural and remote communities. Who We’re Looking For We’re searching for passionate, driven graduates who are ready to take the leap and build a career that matters. To be successful, you’ll need: A degree in Speech Pathology (recent graduate or near completion) Eligibility forSpeech Pathology Australia membership A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within regional areas Willingness to obtain a QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and compassion A genuine desire to contribute to rural and remote healthcare Why You’ll Love Working With Us At NWRH, we’re committed to supporting your growth and wellbeing as a new graduate.
