Mining Engineers

to become part of the Terra Team.About The PositionThe Mining Engineer will assist in the operational direction, input and advice for the safe mining of the resource while ensuring its compliance to the prescribed mine plan.Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:Development of short-term and medium term design, plans and schedules for the mining operationMonitor and enhance the Production Plan's execution, sharing your insights for improvementsConduct daily, weekly, and Monthly reporting against KPIs and budgetsOperations and site-based technical supportData management, technical analysis and assessmentLiaising with a range of internal and external clienteleWhat We Are SeekingA highly motivated Mining Engineer who values safety and being part of a great work culture.Minimum 1 - 4 years’ open pit mining experienceTertiary degree - Mining Engineer (Essential)Demonstrated understanding of drill and blast designs and techniquesShort to medium term planning skillsProficiency with Deswik or Surpac is highly regardedStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as the ability to drive performanceExcellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environmentWhat We OfferSupportive team cultureFamily friendly roster - 8&6Travel and accommodation provided at the projectsAbility to Salary SacrificeTo ApplyTerra Mining are the region’s leader in operational excellence, offering top-dollar opportunities for top-shelf talent.Those who know mining trust Terra.
