Casual Long Distance Driver

Position Overview When international air cargo touches down in Australia, we are there to get it the rest of the way to its destination. Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide. In 2008 Qantas Freight Enterprises bought Jets Transport. Today we operate as a wholly owned but independently managed business. Responsibilities Drive heavy vehicles over long distances, predominantly performing change‑over work with our Sydney driver in Tarcutta. Work across a 7‑day rotating roster, usually departing no later than 7:00 pm, completing the change‑over and returning back to Sydney. Occasionally drive straight to Sydney or Adelaide. Key Requirements A MC driver’s licence. Flexibility to work a rotating roster and the ability to work night shifts. A clean driving record. High attention to detail and focus on safety.
