Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust and scalable software services using programming languages including COBOL, Java, PL/SQL Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers and other developers to deliver solutions Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation Produce technical documentation and artefacts relevant to and for IT service management processes (including Incident, Change and Problem Management) What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science (mandatory) with 7 years of experience in software development and maintenance in a corporate environment Thorough understanding and hands‑on experience of relevant technical platforms (Wintel, Linux, Unix) and SDLC tools including Docker, Git, SVN Hands‑on experience in solution design, application profiling, debugging and performance tuning Understanding of Superannuation products and services and their operation in today’s highly integrated and regulated environment Experience with COBOL, Java, PL/SQL Key Skills Spring .NET C / C++ Go React OOP C# AWS Data Structures Software Development Java Distributed Systems SS&C Technologies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant for employment or employee on the basis of race, color, religious creed, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by applicable discrimination laws.
