Role Detail KWMs Finance Graduate Program will provide you with the tools to build a successful finance career within a top-tier law firm environment. Building on the KWMs renowned legal Graduate Experience Program our Finance Graduate Program similarly promotes and supports an integrated approach to learning and development for early talent. The Finance Graduate Program provides a practical business foundation via rotations through different areas within our Finance team including Treasury operations, Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) as well as in-depth rotations through other operational areas. The role will be supported by sophisticated data and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to assist in areas of financial analysis and reporting. The program also offers a range of formal and informal learning opportunities and CA / CPA qualified mentors to support you through your professional accounting qualification. Commencing February 2026 during the program you can expect to be involved with a range of experiences including : Observing and on‑job learning in all areas of Finance within KWM’s Shared Services group including financial accounting, matter accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assisting in the preparation and analysis of reports including monthly management reports, group financial results and financial statements. Gathering and analysing financial information on cost, pricing fundamentals, expenses and revenue. Participating in finance and operational projects as well as ongoing process improvement initiatives. Attending relevant internal training sessions, team meetings and other firm information sessions. Keeping up to date with industry‑related issues and developments to enhance personal performance / development. Building relationships across all groups and teams looking for ways to cross‑skill and collaborate. What qualifications and skills are we looking for Business related degree majoring in Accounting (including Business Commerce or Economics degrees) A desire to enrol in the Australian CA / CPA program You will be curious to learn and possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills You’ll want to get involved, roll up your sleeves and really immerse yourself in the learning and experience on offer You will possess strong numerical skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
