We are looking for a motivated individual to join a local Telecommunications Installer company based in South East Melbourne. The role will be for a Rigger with proven experience in Telco Rigging in any Telecommunication Network. About the role Applicant must be able to pass Fit to Work & Climbing / Drug and Alcohol testing (conducted on a random basis throughout the employment term). Working at heights/rigging and general work within the limits of your competency and qualifications as required by the company. Checking, maintaining and operating equipment in accordance with safety, efficiency and calibration procedures. Swapping out and decommissioning mobile telecommunication sites. Upgrading existing mobile telecommunications sites. Installation and maintenance of antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers. Participating in on‑the‑job training. Assisting with installations, moves, additions, changes, maintenance and repair support for customer telecommunications. Working away from home and occasional weekend work is a necessary part of employment. Key Certifications Basic Riggers licence or higher; Valid Residency with rights to work in Australia; Working at Heights certification; RF Awareness certification. Requirements & Expectations 2-3 years structural rigging experience with a telecommunications background; Installing, commissioning, upgrading, and servicing various telecommunication equipment; Installing steelwork at height; Mechanically minded, proficient with hand and power tool usage; Maintaining and adhering to set policies, procedures and appropriate documentation; Accurate record keeping of all work performed; Taking responsibility for tools, plant and test equipment; Physically fit and capable; Following directions and taking constructive criticism. #J-18808-Ljbffr
