Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description The Gennari Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team at Maggie Choo. Our modern Asian fusion restaurant in Broadbeach known for its vibrant atmosphere, signature cocktails and elevated dining experience. As part of the Gennari Group, you’ll enjoy staff parties, discounts across all venues and genuine opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Monitor the appearance and performance of all FOH staff, maintaining high standards at all times Lead and coach a diverse, motivated team, fostering a strong team culture Understand and manage venue financials, identifying opportunities to drive revenue Be operationally hands on, leading by example Know your product and drive a learning-focused culture so your team knows it too Ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience every time Daily responsibilities: oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including bookings, table coordination, venue setup and presentation Continuously improve standards to enhance customer satisfaction Train new staff, manage rosters and support team wellbeing Plan and organise functions and events Maintain venue cleanliness and compliance with health regulations Manage stock levels to ensure all front-of-house items are available Ensure team compliance with OH&S requirements Qualifications Minimum 2+ years in a similar management role Strong leadership and communication skills Effective leadership, organisational and interpersonal communication skills Strong customer service focus and ability to build lasting relationships with regulars Proven track record of setting and monitoring revenue and costs Passion for staff training and team engagement to drive continuous improvement Strong knowledge of food, beverage and customer service Hands‑on, energetic and positive attitude Ability to maintain a positive, fast‑paced work environment RSA required; Evening and weekend availability is essential Full-time, 38 hours per week.
