Your role as Cultural Engagement Lead This role leads programs run by the Buldau Yioohgen program, (meaning Big Dreams in the Woiwurrung language), that facilitates and supports young First Peoples across Victoria, to realise their full potential through cultural activities, education, and training, with exposure to several career pathways supported by our partner organisations. Leading, developing and managing our these strong partnerships with organsaitions such as Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria, Fire Rescue Victoria, Victoria Police, ANZ, North Melbourne Football Club, is also a big part of this role, The role is also hugely important in supporting leaders and staff in some of our other programs, like Out of Home Care, to ensure that we work effectively, respectfully and sensitively with First Peoples children, young people, families and communities. Lead, manage and develop our fantastic partnerships with organisations such as Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria, Fire Rescue Victoria, Victoria Police, ANZ, North Melbourne Football Club Use Knowledge and/or existing relationships with local and regional First People services to further develop partnerships and capacity Use cultural knowledge to help proactively develop AV’s capacity to work effectively, respectfully and sensitively with First Peoples Attend First People meetings.
