Insurance Estimator – W3Global About The Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for site inspections, reporting and quoting on damages from insurance claims, project management and coordination of multiple sites; organising and running trades, contractors and employees while ensuring quality and safety requirements are met. Your area would be predominantly Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast with assistance in other areas required at times. This role offers an opportunity to work from home with up to 1 day a week required to attend and work from the head office in Burleigh Heads. Key Responsibilities Site inspection and preparation of the scope of works and quotes for repairs Preparation of causation reports Use of company job management system – Prime Ecosystem and external portals Construction and roof reports Building and maintaining relationships with insurers, claims managers and loss adjusters Project management Coordination of other trades Site health and safety Provide technical advice and support Regular site attendance Quality control Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction Liaise with internal staff, external stakeholders and subcontractors About You You will have an enthusiastic, customer focused and process‑driven approach with the proven ability to provide results in the construction industry. You will need to enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, multi‑project environment. Personal Attributes Ability and desire to be part of a small, dynamic team Building trade / Construction qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction Proven working experience in Construction / Project Management Project Management (Insurance Claims) experience – ideal but not essential High level attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Intermediate computer literacy Ability to forward plan work and prioritise tasks Available to travel periodically when required Ability and flexibility to adapt to changing demands Qualifications Required Building trade / Construction qualifications Experience in Residential & Commercial Job Sites Construction Induction White Card Safe Working at Heights accreditation – preferred but not essential Drivers Licence HR/MR licence will be highly regarded. The role will include a company vehicle, phone, and laptop.
