Despatch Operator

CLS is a rapidly growing commercial laundry operation with multiple locations and a diverse customer base across regional QLD. Consolidated Linen Service (“CLS”) is seeking a Despatch Operator to work at our Noosa Depot. As a Despatch Operator your main focus will be efficient preparation and despatch of customer orders on a daily basis to the highest standard. Casual position - approximately 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, with more days available during busy periods. Start times may vary. The depot is open 7am - 3pm. Starting rate is $30.76 per hour. Responsibilities Accurate preparation of customer orders. Ensure orders are completed in readiness for known delivery timetables. Actively liaise with other CLS operations including Hervey Bay Laundry regarding linen stock required for next day orders. Liaise with SC Manager to ensure delivery drivers and timetables are maintained and to best meet customer needs. Assist with ensuring customer credits are processed accordingly where applicable. Assist with customer enquiries where possible. Ensure organisation and housekeeping of depot is to standard to ensure a safe and organised working environment. Operate manual handling aids as required, and as per standard operating and safe work procedures. Apply economical thinking to day-to-day operations. Assisting with laundry practices as required.
