About the Role You’ll carry out audits onsite, from client locations to working from home or our Brisbane office, with occasional travel to regional QLD as required. You’ll assess IT systems for vulnerabilities as part of information security management system assessments. You will bring your tech skills to the fore by assessing the management of devices, passwords, networks, users, applications, encryption, malware protection, backups, logs, information transfer, development and QA, redundancy and business continuity. We focus on continued training and support for all auditors. Grow in this role and access opportunities to develop as a Lead Auditor of ISO27001 and CISA/ CISM / CISSP. What You'll Be Doing Conduct ISO certification audits and assessments for a diverse client base. Assessing IT systems and controls for vulnerabilities. Collaborate with client teams to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with Compass management, operations, and our clients, you’ll play a key role in driving real results and continuous improvement. Prepare professional, accurate audit reports and other deliverables. Enjoy a mix of client site visits and flexible work from home or our Brisbane office. About You Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position. You’re a confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people at all levels—from senior execs to small operational teams. You’re self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently or as part of an audit team. Experience with diverse information systems and environments. You understand systems and have 3 - 5+ years IT experience. You have Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology. You can write clear, concise, and insightful audit reports. You live in or near the Brisbane area and are able to attend client sites in person on a regular basis and the Brisbane office in person for training and monthly meetings. Experience with auditing and knowledge of ISO27001 highly desirable. Experience working with AI and awareness of ISO42001 also desirable.
