Telehealth Medical Practitioner Contractor

We're looking for experienced reliable and committed Medical Practitioners to join our telehealth team on a contractor basis. The role Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations across a diverse patient base Manage clinical assessments prescriptions (S4 & S8) and follow-up consults Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes and service efficiency Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline care Maintain complete documentation and compliance in a digital-first environment Commit to providing weekly hours to your Alternaleaf patients. Being able to provide availability consistently in advance. Qualifications We're seeking dependable doctors who thrive in fast-paced digital-first environments and want to make a lasting impact in an evolving clinical space. This role is not suited to doctors who cannot commit consistent hours to the clinic each week. You bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4) Experience in emergency urgent care high-volume GP or telehealth settings will be highly regarded Excellent time management with the ability to confidently manage 10-15 minute consults (4-6 patients / hour) Familiarity with privacy laws RTPM S8 regulation and medico-legal obligations Strong clinical judgement with an evidence-based and harm-reduction mindset Strong documentation / admin skills Comfortable working with multiple digital platforms and navigating tech efficiently Punctual reliable and responsive you value team collaboration and patient continuity Additional Information Online Pre-assessment Initial Training Successful applicants will need to be available for initial training from Monday to Thursday within business hours during week one. You will be joining a highly motivated dynamic team that will support you on your journey from the start. The Education team will take you through onboarding ensuring you are equipped with all the knowledge needed to run consults.
