Clinical Associate Professor / Professor of Oncology The closing date is 14 December 2025. Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS) is seeking to appoint a Clinical Associate Professor or Professor of Oncology, depending on career stage, with an honorary consultant contract at University Hospitals Sussex. The role holder will have a track record in clinical trials and provide clinical leadership as Clinical Director for the Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit. They will lead their own programme of research and, alongside support for clinical trials, BSMS and our parent universities offer extensive facilities and expertise to support a wide range of other research interests linked to oncology. Responsibilities include: Leads research programme and supports clinical trials unit. Provides clinical leadership to the CTU and mentors colleagues. Drives development of cancer‑focused trial portfolio. Develops strategies for increasing research income and clinical trial recruitment.
