Base pay range: $132,000 / yr – $140,000 / yr Location: North Ryde (Covering areas across Sydney, Tamworth and / or Coffs Harbour) Work Type: Max Term (Until June) About the role As the Operations Manager – Suicide Aftercare, you will lead the operational planning, coordination, and delivery of integrated Aftercare services across multiple sites. You’ll ensure service alignment with the i.am Practice Guide, NSW Universal Aftercare Guidelines, and internal quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities Oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring culturally safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed support for diverse communities. Monitor service quality, performance, compliance, and risk across teams, taking proactive action to address issues. Coordinate implementation of the integrated service model and track progress across scope, time, quality, cost, and benefits. Collaborate closely with clinical leads, Aftercare teams, community partners, and external stakeholders including LHDs and the NSW Ministry of Health. Drive continuous service improvement through data analysis, reporting, consultation meetings, and feedback loops. Support the integration of lived experience insights into program design, delivery, and practice improvement. This role works closely with Internal: Aftercare teams, Customer Service and Clinical teams, Operations Management. External: LHDs, NSW Ministry of Health, community partners, subcontractors, and funding bodies. About you Relevant tertiary qualifications, postgraduate studies and / or extensive experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in running a service including responsibility for service performance, operational and budget management (minimum of 3 years) Experience in Health-Related Information Systems Understanding of trauma-informed care and suicide postvention principles Ability to travel Sydney, Coffs-Habour and Tamworth Pre-employment Checks Current Police Check (Issued within the last 3 months) Current NSW Drivers License NDIS worker Check (or willingness to obtain) NSW WWCC (or willingness to obtain) About us With over 55 years of experience, New Horizons is a leading provider of disability, aged care, and community support services, committed to empowering individuals to live their best lives.
