About the Role We are seeking reliable and compassionate female Disability Support Workers available for short morning shifts (8am–12pm) and evening shifts (6:30pm–10:30pm). These shifts are ideal for individuals looking for flexible work that supports a balanced lifestyle, whether you’re juggling family commitments, study, or prefer shorter split shifts. Excellent English and communication skills are essential, as you will be engaging with participants, families, and colleagues daily. You’ll provide high‑quality support including personal care, manual handling, meal preparation, and promoting independence in daily activities. Key Responsibilities Provide respectful and dignified personal care Safely perform manual handling tasks, including hoist use Assist with meal preparation and household tasks Support participants with daily living and community access Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members Provide safe and reliable transport to appointments and programs Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications Minimum 1 year of disability support experience Certificate III or IV in Disability/Individual Support (or related qualification) Competence in personal care, hoists, and manual handling Strong English and communication skills First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain) Working with Children Check – Employee NDIS Worker Screening Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Infection Control training What’s in It for You Shifts that truly fit around your life and commitments Work close to home in the Geelong area Supportive, values‑driven team culture A role where you can make a genuine difference every day We are committed to child safety.
