Overview Lecturer, Electrical & Electronics or Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering. Join the Department of Electrical, Robotics and Biomedical Engineering to deliver innovative teaching, research, and industry engagement. The role contributes to high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering, delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops on campus and online, and assessing student learning across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Responsibilities Develop and enhance academic programs, contribute to curriculum design, and support program innovation. Mentor and advise students on academic matters and supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD research projects. Contribute to the School’s research performance through high-quality publications, securing external research funding, and participating in collaborative projects. Build and maintain strong links with industry, government, and the wider community to enhance the relevance and impact of teaching and research. Support administrative and governance activities within the School. About You Experience teaching in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering. Passion for innovative teaching and learning, including blended and online delivery. Experience supervising group projects, ideally in collaboration with industry partners. A developing research track record with quality publications, and ambition to grow it further. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. The drive (or potential) to attract external research funding. Qualifications An earned doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a related field.
