What you will do Conduct all Blood Transfusion testing, including using Ortho Visions, crossmatching of red cells, and issuing blood components and products. Effectively manage and operate the Winpath Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Implement Blood 360 vein-to-vein tracking methods to ensure comprehensive test monitoring. Adhere to and maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, UKAS, and BSQR standards. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient care and improve service delivery. Requirements HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an equivalent qualification. Significant post-qualifying experience within the field of biomedical science. Proficiency in all Blood Transfusion testing and relevant biomedical science applications. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed for the role.
