We are seeking interest from candidates who can demonstrate experience working as a Team Leader in a processing or manufacturing environment. This role will provide support to the Workshop Supervisor, assisting with motivating the team to achieve key outcomes. ## **Job Responsibilities*** Leading and inspiring your team to hit team Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash weekly targets* Support, reinforce and uphold supervisor and management decisions and policies across the workshop* Ensure accurate completion of daily timesheets including confirmation of job numbers* Manage maintenance plans, and action all tooling requirements of the team as required* Effectively manage people resources to meet production requirements across various product groups* Increase efficiency of the workshop by maintaining a focus on Quality and continuous improvement* Check the quality of completed jobs and sign off against the job pack* Plan and schedule parts and materials for future jobs* Ensure completed jobs are transferred to stores/dispatch in a timely manner* Understand business needs by exhibiting an understanding of key drivers and performance measures (eg job schedule) relating to the workshop* Provide solutions to any issues that may arise in the work area ## **What you bring*** Qualified Mechanical Fitter with Trade Certificate issued by an accredited institution* Must have demonstrated experience and high level technical skills relevant to the role* Experience in manufacturing mining analytical equipment advantageous* Experience working with crushers, screens, cyclones, pumps etc.* High standard of technical skills relevant to the trade and superior product knowledge and skills, to enable you to provide technical support and solutions to the team* Demonstrated supervisory or leadership skills* Experience in a fabrication and manufacturing environment, preferably in the mineral processing industry* Ability to be read and understand engineering drawings.* Desirable to possess Rigging, Forklift, confined space etc.* Current Manual Car Drivers License.* Demonstrated Industry and Product knowledge of mineral processing in mining Sector.* High level of physical fitness to perform the job requirements* Team player, able to interface positively with all team members ## **What we offer*** Competitive hourly rate on offer* Job security in a volatile market – FLSmidth has 136 years of successful operation within a global environment.* Development and training within a respected global OEM company* Access to salary packaging options to allow you to maximise your after-tax income* Employee Assistance Program for employees and immediate family* Access to a Recognition and Benefits platform* Purchased annual leave options* Paid Parental leave* Involvement with community and charity initiatives Shortlisting for this position will commence immediately.
