Operations Manager

PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage. We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Manager to join the team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of operational excellence. Leading the operations, developing and implementing a range of customer and business initiatives designed to successfully deliver contracted KPI’s, whilst ensuring our facilities continue to operate under a safe and compliant environment. We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our WA operations based at our Forrestdale site. What you will do: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Vehicle Processing Centre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Improve state operational metrics by utilising your proven strategic business planning skills while concurrently managing risks Plan, lead, and control all processing, yard operational services to consistently meet organisational requirements Managing and delivering agreed business outcomes in a positive and collaborative manner Drive and ambition to grow our culture of continuous improvement Develop and lead high performing state team through communication, engagement mentoring and empowerment Successfully manage state operations team to deliver contracted KPI’s within budgets and costs P&L responsibilities with monthly review and feedback from executive management team Implement strong financial management practices while building measurable stretch financial targets Constantly seeking opportunities to lead and participate in business growth initiatives What you will bring: Reliable and dedicated person with drive and energy Minimum 5 years operational management experience Automotive industry experience is highly desirable Strong commercial acumen Sound financial experience, including P&L interpretation and justification Experience managing unionised workforce, EBA and Award implementation Proven track record driving cost saving and business growth projects Exceptional negotiating and influencing skills A critical thinker who is naturally inquisitive Capability to successfully manage multiple deadlines and time sensitive responsibilities Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment What we offer: Competitive salary plus benefits Supportive and inclusive team environment Our X-Factor reward and recognition program Training and development through leadership and mentoring programs, lunch and learn sessions, Cadetships and Apprenticeships programs Exclusive benefits and discounts from our partners, employee referral program, service recognition Wellness: Employee Assistance Program If you are ready to take on a challenging leadership role in a dynamic environment, apply now to join our team We value the unique backgrounds, experiences and contributions that each person brings to our community and encourage and celebrate diversity.
