About the School Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. Job Overview The College is seeking applications for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher of French to join our languages department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that allow the students to develop fluency in the French language, and their understanding and appreciation of French culture. As part of a vibrant and supportive educational community, you will contribute to a collaborative teaching team, access excellent resources, and empower students to apply their talents in ways that make a meaningful impact within the College and beyond. We are appointing an outstanding French teacher in a full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2026. Skills And Experience Stage 3, 4, 5 and 6 French Ability to teach another language (Italian, Latin, Classical Greek) desirable About You Be an outstanding experienced classroom teacher of French across Stages 3, 4, 5 and 6. Demonstrate collaborative practices and commitment to working as part of a team. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College. Be willing to contribute to the Co‑curriculum Programs at the College. Hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well‑being of children and young people. Be accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.
