Naracoorte Health Service is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Casual Pool as Assistants in Nursing, working in both our Acute and Aged Care units. About the Role: As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support our Enrolled and Registered Nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with daily living activities and basic nursing duties. Providing person-centred care to our patients/clients. Performing routine technical support functions, including setting up for nursing procedures and managing local stock levels. Maintaining effective communication within our multidisciplinary healthcare team. What We're Looking For: Current enrolment in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program (2nd or 3rd year) or Completion of training relevant to the safe and competent performance of nursing duties or A Certificate III or IV in Basic Health Care, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance, Home and Community Care, Individual Support Work, or other approved health-related qualifications.
