Learn more about us at greengensolar.com.au About the Role We are seeking a motivated 2nd/3rd Year Electrical Apprentice, ideally with solar experience, however we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in solar installation. This is a full‑time role working across residential solar installations, with commercial opportunities increasing as we expand. Busy environment with a streamline of projects. Company Van provided. Bonus incentives and paid birthday off. Your Responsibilities Assist in the installation of residential solar PV systems. Work confidently on rooftops, panel placement, racking, and cable runs. Maintain safety standards and follow all WHS procedures. Support electricians with battery or inverter installations where required. Load, unload, and prepare materials and equipment for each job. Communicate effectively with the team and customers onsite. Keep job sites clean, organised, and professional. About You We’re looking for someone who has the right attitude, motivation and passion to learn within the solar industry. To be successful, you will have: Proven experience as a Solar Labourer or Installer highly regarded but not essential. Strong understanding of solar installation processes and safety procedures. Ability to work autonomously and follow directions from supervisors. Strong work ethic, teamwork, eagerness to learn and reliability. Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to take initiative. Your own basic tools (or willingness to purchase prior to commencement). A genuine passion for renewable energy and a desire to build a career within the solar industry. Mature‑age apprentices are more than welcome. Required Qualifications White Card (Construction Induction). Working at Heights certification. “Working Safely in the Solar Industry” qualification (preferred but will be required). Driver’s Licence. Ability to drive with a trailer. Full working rights in Australia. (Additional training or accreditations in solar installation will be highly regarded.)
