Education RTW Services Officer, Office of Industrial Relations Office of Industrial Relations QLD – Brisbane QLD Workers' Compensation Regulatory Services (WCRS) is seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Officer to help ensure the smooth delivery of rehabilitation and return to work services. You will play a key role in ensuring that scheme stakeholders receive education and advice on the vital roles they play within the scheme. Education, Insurer and Tribunal Services provide support for the operation of the Medical Assessment Tribunals (MAT) who have responsibility under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (the Act) for making independent medical decisions about a worker's injury, based on a clinical examination and information provided. The unit also monitors the legislative compliance and performance of the insurers in the scheme and administers workers' compensation information grants, delivers training to scheme doctors and engages with stakeholders on a range of key workers' compensation activities to improve rehabilitation and return to work outcomes across the scheme. What you can expect in this role As the Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to assist the Workers' Compensation Licensing, Performance and Compliance (LPC) and Education & Return to Work Services (ERTWS) teams deliver strategic priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative support tasks including (but not limited to), monitoring business unit email boxes, maintaining public register lists, processing invoices in accordance with purchase orders and contracts, ordering stationery and office supplies, scheduling and supporting training, meeting arrangements and documentation preparation. You will also support the delivery of scheme doctor training and will be required to confidently engage with internal and external business partners. We are looking for a highly organized individual with a keen attention to detail and accuracy, capable of effectively managing competing priorities and workloads across the two teams. Key responsibilities include: Delivery and accurate maintenance of all documentation, issues and records relating to the Queensland Guidelines for the evaluation of permanent impairment training. Provide a high level of customer service and advice to internal and external business partners in relation to general workers' compensation enquiries, specifically rehabilitation and return to work and self-insurance via the phone line and the shared mailboxes for each team. Participate in business improvement initiatives that enhance awareness of Workers' Compensation Regulatory Services education initiatives and advisory services. Continue to develop your understanding and knowledge of the Queensland workers' compensation scheme, other jurisdictional initiatives, and evidence-based best practice rehabilitation and return to work to benefit and inform the work of the team. Assist in maintaining an up-to-date register of WCRS stakeholders and ensure that WCRS publications are recorded in the publications catalogue and correctly version controlled. Participate in events and engagement initiatives such as conferences and workshops, to share learnings gained with the wider EITS team and to represent EITS on trade stands. Liaise with the Manager and Strategic Communications to prepare and track social media content effectiveness with reference to EITS' communications plan. Liaise with stakeholders to identify opportunities to promote rehabilitation and return to work outcomes across the scheme. Assisting to develop, maintain, and update team procedures as required. Coordinating WCRS and OIR staff attendance at Rehabilitation and Return to Work Co-Ordinator (RRTWC) training and gathering and compiling staff feedback on the training for review by the Manager Education & Return to Work Services.
