Our client, a leading manufacturer, is on the hunt for a skilled Day Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and experienced fitter to play a key role in a state-of-the-art production facility. As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be the go-to person for keeping the site's critical machinery running. Your day-to-day will involve a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work. You'll need a keen eye for detail and a knack for troubleshooting to ensure production targets are met with minimal downtime, this is a varied role with a range of different machines and production lines. Key Responsibilities Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing machinery. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, mechanical assembly and project work Working to strict health and safety standards. Collaborating with the production team to ensure a seamless operation. What We're Looking For A qualified Maintenance Fitter with a relevant Australian trade certificate. Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. A reliable and self-motivated individual who works well both independently and as part of a team.
