The Events Logistics Supervisorposition is a hands-on and active role which will assist in the effective running of the logistics team in our Event Centre. In this role you will provide engaging and high-quality guest service and coordinate team members to maintain the service flow and performance standards of the outlet. You will be comfortable in operating a forklift, manual pallet jacket, and be able to complete physical tasks such as unloading stock or equipment. A few of your responsibilities: Report all faults, repairs and maintenance requirements in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to the business Supervise the Logistics team members and assist the Management team with the training & development of the team Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between all shifts Encourage a positive working relationship between Food and Beverage outlets and other departments within the company What we will be looking for: Previous experience in a supervisory role Demonstrated ability in developing productive workplace relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) About You: You will have previous experience in leading a team, preferably with proven experience in events or logistics. Your inspiring leadership and exceptional communication skills enable you to create a positive working relationship between departments within the company.
