ABOUT YOU Qualified Theatre Technician – Completed a recognised Theatre Technician course with a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care. Recent Peri-Operative Experience – Hands-on, up-to-date clinical experience with peri-operative procedures. Strong Communicator – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, patients and surgical teams. If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact Sarah Hands at POSITION DETAILS ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Theatre Technician assists the surgeon and nursing staff with surgical procedures through the provision, operation and maintenance of theatre equipment and the positioning/preparation of patients. They ensure equipment and stock are available and support efficient perioperative processes. Role Responsibilities Assist the Surgeon and Nursing Staff with surgical procedures and theatre equipment; position and prepare patients. Facilitate efficient perioperative processes and operations. Ensure equipment and stock are available for perioperative staff. Physical Requirements Frequent standing and use of upper limbs; occasional lifting and trunk rotation. Occasional heavy lifting, repositioning and handling of equipment. PPE and safety gear as required.
