Sodexo is currently looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a fulltime position with a 14:7 11 hour roster, FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns and is a great opportunity for the right person with the right experience who will deliver a hands‑on proactive approach. We’re looking for customer service‑oriented people with industrial cleaning or hospitality experience or an alternate transferable skill set with a positive can‑do attitude. Your next adventure awaits Responsibilities You are service‑minded, with a desire to help improve the quality of life for village residents living and working away from home. Working as a mine site cleaning supervisor you will lead a team cleaning offices, crib rooms and ablutions; however, on occasions support in other operational areas if required. Maintain inventory and order cleaning and maintenance supplies. Support and perform all aspects of cleaning Follow up with cleaning team and delegate workload as needed Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment Deal with requests from tenants in a polite and prompt fashion and adhere to health and safety regulations Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing Ensure all cleaning products are kept in good shape and are stored according to safety regulations Perform regular and ongoing deep cleaning of all areas of the building Perform isolation cleaning duties when required Requirements Australian citizenship or permanent residency is a mandatory requirement for this role 2 week on 1 week off 11 hours a day FIFO to and from Brisbane or Cairns airport only Fly to Amrun mine site Flights, accommodation, meals and uniform provided Lucrative $ annual retention bonus reward Staff retail discount benefit and referral programme Australian driver’s licence is a mandatory requirement Only candidates already residing in Brisbane or Cairns will be considered Benefits Permanent role with Sodexo – we’re looking for keepers Great annualised salary with consistent hours, holiday, sick pay, and superannuation A structured onboarding and induction programme to ensure you get the best start in your FIFO life Your flights, food and accommodation are covered whilst at site – let the savings begin Access to fantastic village facilities and lifestyle options including gyms, fitness classes, pools, tennis courts, and social activities (dependent on Village) Access to employee benefits, discounts, and our recognition programme Great teamwork and a solid group of people around you Qualifications We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in the Industrial Cleaning sector working a similar role and have experience managing teams. Working on‑site with our teams means you’ll be working 11 hours per day on a 14:7 roster, often in extreme environments.
