We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team at Great Fingall. This is a permanent full time role on an 8/6 roster. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures & statutory requirements. Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract/client schedules. Ensure client requirements are met contractually whilst maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with the client. Use analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives. Use analysis and implementation of revenue generating initiatives. Management of Site Finances. Short Term Scheduling of Operations. Production Monitoring. Monthly performance reporting. Quality Assurance programme management. Budget preparation. Assist in the preparation of monthly claims and interface with the client. Deputise for the Mine Foreman when requested. Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of underground mining operations. Ability to communicate and liaise with both employees and client site management. Ability to identify potential hazards and minimise risks. Ability to schedule labour. Sound understanding of appropriate statutory and mining regulations. Attractive remuneration package. Opportunities for career progression.
