Job Title: Locum General Practitioner - ACCHO - Ipswich, Queensland. Proposed Locum Period: Now until February 2025. Hours: Full-Time. Practice Information: This Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) is seeking General Practitioners for their Ipswich and Laidley Clinics. This well-established clinic has strong community engagement and is well supported by Nursing and Aboriginal Health staff. The clinic is seeking dedicated and experienced General Practitioners to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, possess excellent clinical skills, and be enthusiastic about working in a collaborative environment, and with First Nation peoples and communities. DPA/19AB Permanent. 715 Health Checks are utilised at the clinic as a vital tool improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. They prioritise early detection and management of health conditions, promoting a holistic approach to health, and contributing to closing the gap is our priority. All General Practitioners have the option to attend local schools to conduct 715 Health Checks. Key Selection Criteria: Vocationally Registered General Practitioner with AHPRA Current Insurance Indemnity Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care and primary health care strategies, including appropriate investigations, treatment and referral Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes. Ability to support a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes. Criminal History Check Employment is conditional upon maintaining a clear personal history screening checks prior to and throughout employment. Locum Rate: $1800 per day. About Ipswich: Ipswich is centrally located in the booming South-East Queensland region of Australia. To the east is the capital city Brisbane, and to the west are the rural and agricultural areas of the Brisbane, Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. The city is ideally positioned on the national road network - 40 minutes drive from Brisbane, an hours drive from the Gold Coast and 60 minutes drive from domestic and international air and sea ports.
