Our cutting-edge facility in Dandenong South is now fully operational, and we’re on the lookout for skilled Machine Operators to join our growing team on Day Shift with some flexibility to work on Afternoon Shift if your circumstances allow for it. Starting immediately and in a casual capacity, successful candidates will enjoy consistent shifts, competitive casual pay rates, and a genuine opportunity to transition into permanent roles in 2026 for those who demonstrate commitment and excellence. About the Role Machine setup and operation Experience in process cheese or melted chocolate manufacturing, highly regarded Experience using Vertical Form Fill Seal (Propac) machines, highly regarded Monitoring and quality control Machine changeovers and line adjustments Raw material preparation – De-carton various raw ingredients from our low care to high care production rooms (up to 20kgs in weight) Line feeding – continuously feed blocks into hopper/loading station Product handling and documentation Cleaning and sanitation (CIP & COP) – including disassembly and reassembly of equipment for manual cleaning Comply with hygiene and safety requirements The following skills & experience that will put you ahead of other candidates. Previous experience working in the dairy/food industry Experience working with high-speed processing and packaging equipment Can demonstrate understanding of GMP and HACCP principles. Physical readiness — this is an active role that involves standing, lifting (up to 20kgs), and moving throughout the shift PPE & gowning is provided, and onsite car parking is also available.
