Key benefits: Attractive Salary Package Granny Smith Mine, FIFO from Perth Permanent role with a global leader in gold mining and long-life mines Direct 1-hour flight from Perth, Virgin Velocity points and Alliance lounge access Benefits include 6% site allowance, monthly private health allowance and quarterly bonus (up to 10% annually) 6 weeks annual leave, personal and parental leave, plus pro‑rata long service leave after 5 years' service Modern camp with comfortable rooms and a wide range of amenities Career development supported by structured training and mentoring About the Role Lead the Mobile Maintenance team to achieve performance targets through effective planning, task allocation and progress monitoring Champion safety by conducting inspections, audits and in‑field safety leadership, ensuring full compliance with safety and production requirements Support the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures, processes and technologies Drive a continuous improvement culture focused on equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency Reduce production impacts by maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring availability of critical parts, tools and services Develop and support your team through coaching, mentoring, professional development and performance management About You Australian‑recognised Heavy Mobile Maintenance Trade Qualification with leadership experience in a mining environment (essential) WA Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor (essential) Proven ability to coach, mentor and build team capability Valid WA Manual Driver’s Licence Experience with Atlas, CAT and Sandvik underground mining equipment Strong communication skills both written and verbal Experience using SAP, INX, Word and Excel Exposure to ICAM investigation practices is desirable Sound understanding of WA Mines Safety & Inspection Regulations, including classified plant obligations Demonstrated experience in a proactive, planned maintenance environment with a focus on reliability‑centred maintenance At Gold Fields, we’re proud to be one of the world’s leading gold producers and more importantly, we’re a team united by a commitment to safety, respect, and creating lasting value for our people and communities.
