About the Role Report to the Farm Manager and play a vital role in maintaining daily farm operations — from machinery upkeep to general farm duties — ensuring our high standards of safety, animal welfare, and efficiency are met every day. Responsibilities Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repairs of machinery Operate hand tools safely and effectively Drive and operate the manual Heavy Rigid (HR) farm truck Perform duties using tractors and telehandlers (training provided if required) Operate a bobcat on occasion (training provided if required) Carry out general farm maintenance and support duties as directed Report faults, hazards, and concerns to the Farm Manager or relevant staff Work proactively and innovatively to complete tasks with care, ensuring teamwork, safety, and the wellbeing of all staff and birds Follow all Pace Farm safety standards, policies, and procedures Support continuous improvement and farm efficiency initiatives Undertake ad‑hoc duties as requested by the Farm Manager Schedule Monday – Friday, full‑time hours (some weekend or overtime work may be required during peak periods) Location Kinglake West, VIC Salary Competitive hourly rate, based on experience Requirements Manual Heavy Rigid (HR) licence (mandatory) Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools Bobcat/skid‑steer ticket – desirable Telehandler experience – desirable Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive, “can‑do” attitude and commitment to safety and quality Availability Monday to Friday (essential) Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 (in line with state government mandate) Must not own chickens, waterfowl or pigs (due to biosecurity requirements) Benefits Respected, family‑owned business with a strong community spirit Great team culture with long‑term career stability On‑the‑job training and skill development opportunities Competitive pay and genuine work‑life balance How to Apply To apply, please hit “Apply now” and submit your resume.
