Cellar Door Attendant opportunities at Cape Mentelle - join our stellar team Established in 1970, Cape Mentelle is proud to be one of Margaret River’s ‘founding five’ wineries. Our winery has pioneered many of the region’s renowned wine styles and today is a benchmark for the quality of the region’s wines. We aim to produce wines that capture a unique sense of place in every bottle. These characteristics are defined by our pristine coastal location, unique soils and 50 years of viticultural history. We’re on the hunt for both seasoned professionals and up and comers to join our fantastic team for the summer season. About the role The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional service at the Cape Mentelle Cellar Door. As a team we pride ourselves on creating an environment that is relaxed, friendly and supportive with a focus on excellent guest experiences. Key responsibilities Leading wine appreciation and tasting Hosting detailed wine experiences for small and large groups, including private tastings Maintaining professional standards to create a welcoming customer experience Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests General tidying and cleaning in the cellar door, including re‑stock Receiving and handling money Wine sales and general service Engaging with our customers through entertaining and authentic story‑telling The successful applicant will have A current RSA A positive attitude and a great work ethic Strong wine knowledge, WSET or similar highly regarded Passion and enthusiasm for great customer service and excellent customer service skills The ability to work well in a team Great attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced Cellar Door environment Ability to lift cases of wine and stock movements throughout our Cellar Door (up to 15kg) A hospitality background with proven customer service skills is preferred A strong sales background will be considered a plus Availability Must be available to work across the full summer season (November – April) Must be available on weekends and peak holiday periods The benefits are great too Score great discounts on our products An exclusive discount card for Dan Murphy’s, BWS and other Endeavour Group brands including ALH pubs not to mention discounts from Woolworths and Big W Grow with Endeavour Group With a portfolio that includes Dan Murphy’s, BWS, ALH Hotels, Pinnacle Drinks and more, Endeavour Group is big on sociability.
