About the Role We have an opportunity for an experienced and driven Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, who displays strong communication and technical skills to join our Civil Works project in Rockhampton, Central Queensland. A minimum of 5 years experience is required for this role as it requires the individual to operate autonomously and with minimal supervision within our project teams. Experience with Local Government projects and specifications is desired but not mandatory, and will be considered when assessing applications. Reporting Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist with driving the necessary systems required for all aspects of managing the project as assigned. You will be required to provide leadership to all subordinate team members across health, safety, environmental, quality and financial aspects. Responsibilities Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed Assist with planning of construction methods and procedures and coordinate the supply of labour and materials Consult with architects, engineers or other technical personnel to ensure design requirements are met Formulate and maintain detailed programs for site works and coordination of personnel Record variations from design drawings or specifications for submission to the client Benefits RMS offers attractive remuneration packages including site uplift and away from home allowances.
