We deliver programs and services to young people aged 8‑17, embedding social and emotional skill development opportunities in everyday community activities such as cooking, shopping, fishing, sport, and creative arts. About the Role Eighteen months into our journey to create meaningful change, we’re seeking to add to our team. As the Finance for Impact Lead, you’ll guide how money moves through our organisation ensuring every dollar contributes to meaningful outcomes, not just bottom lines. You’ll design and manage financial systems, oversee budgets and reporting, and provide strategic input to help us grow sustainably while staying true to our purpose. This role will initially be part‑time, with flexible hours and the potential to grow into a full‑time position as our organisation continues to expand. We’re open to finding the rhythm that works best for the right person, whether that’s a few consistent days each week or variable hours across the month. This is a flexible role with the option to work hybrid or remote. Who you are Grounded, relational, and open‑minded—someone who values people as much as process. Skilled with Xero, reporting, and compliance, but comfortable in a collaborative, evolving environment. Able to simplify financial information so others feel confident engaging with it. Motivated by impact and purpose, not just profit. Key Responsibilities Financial Management Oversee all accounting and bookkeeping (Xero, BAS, payroll, super, etc.) Develop monthly management reports and cashflow forecasts Manage grant and contract acquittals Lead annual budgeting process and scenario planning Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC, and funding body requirements Operational Systems Maintain clean and auditable financial records Improve financial workflows, delegations, and approval processes Support automation of invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting Align finance systems with HR, payroll, and CRM tools Governance & Collaboration Work closely with Company Directors and Impact Development Lead on financial narratives and reporting Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and business development Present to the Board or funders on financial position, trends, and forecasts Embed ethical, transparent, and relational finance practices Strategic Finance Build long‑term sustainability models for social enterprise growth Conduct financial analysis to guide decisions on staffing, pricing, and scaling Advise on superannuation, insurance, and asset management strategies Identify risks and opportunities to strengthen financial resilience #J-18808-Ljbffr
