Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Systems and CAFM Development Manager The closing date is 21 December 2025 We have an opportunity available within the Building, Engineering and Maintenance (BEM) team for a Systems and CAFM Development Manager to provide expert management and leadership skills and have a wide range of responsibilities to ensure effective development, management and operation of the services within Estates and Facilities. Key responsibilities include: Senior member of the BEM team with expert management and leadership skills BEM asset management SFG 20 maintenance and specification data Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) data Annual data collection for the Premises Assurance Model (PAM) Creation of board and compliance reports Data quality oversight, policy and procedure compliance, and accountability arrangements for data exchange within BEM Project management of BEM data, information collection, and development of processes and procedures Development and maintenance of a document management structure within the BEM department About us Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. Qualifications BSc in an IM&T or technical discipline Postgraduate qualification or master’s degree in a related discipline Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Asset Management Experience Significant experience within technical or estates management teams, data and information management Proven experience managing large teams Experience managing process‑driven operations within an organisation Experience of project planning and implementation Experience of working with complex processes and creating process maps and drafting policies and processes Experience with estates information systems (e.g., CAFM software) NHS estates and hospital maintenance management experience Evidence of working within an Asset Management environment Facial recognition time‑recording systems experience (e.g., Allocate) Knowledge Sound knowledge of IT software and systems SFG 20 maintenance and specification data Computer aided facilities management data (CAFM) Annual data collection for NHS estates assurance (PAM) Knowledge of MS applications at medium to advanced level Knowledge of the preparation of computer PPM schedules Significant knowledge of compliant estates systems within a healthcare environment Knowledge of BMS systems Experience structuring and maintaining CAFM PPM schedules Asset Management ISO 55001 CAFM system integration knowledge Skills Proactive with drive and enthusiasm Able to work under own initiative Able to work as part of a team Discretion and integrity Proven fault‑finding capabilities Self‑motivated and able to motivate others Well organised with excellent documentation skills Capable of working in a demand‑driven service with customer‑focused delivery Excellent written and verbal skills Experience of managing a team, including development, people management, training and appraisal processes Additional Requirements Ability to understand and behave at all times toward patients, visitors and colleagues according to the Trust values of Safe, Kind, Excellent Must be able to motivate and get the best from management staff Adaptable to change Working to deadlines Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required to check for any previous convictions.
