We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NPD Project Manager to lead a team and drive product development initiatives within the FMCG sector. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the Technical Department. Client Details Our customer is a well-established, large organisation within the food industry, known for its commitment to quality and innovation. They focus on delivering exceptional services to their customers while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Description Lead and manage product development projects from concept to launch within the high risk food industry. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production. Ensure all product development processes align with industry standards and company objectives. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Identify market trends and opportunities to drive innovation and competitiveness. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the product development team. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management. Profile Proven experience in product development within the food industry. Educational qualifications in Food Science or a related field. Strong people leadership (managing a team of 3) and project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Deep understanding of product lifecycle and market trends. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
