Senior Business Analyst Base pay range A$900.00/daily - A$1,000.00/daily Role: Senior Business Analyst Day Rate: $900 - $1000 + Super Contract Length: 6-months + extensions Location: Sydney CBD/WFH Australian Citizens Only – Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance required We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support policy implementation, data collection, and regulatory reporting initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing team on critical projects. Key Responsibilities Facilitate workshops and requirements discovery sessions with diverse stakeholders. Analyse, document, and validate business and data requirements. Conduct data analysis to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business needs. Manage UAT, including test planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination. Create process maps, reports, and training materials to support implementation and change activities. Support the Change Manager with FAQs, communications, and training delivery. Plan, track, and report on business analysis activities across the project lifecycle. About You 5-10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role. Proven background in regulatory reporting or financial services (banking, superannuation, or insurance). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions. Hands‑on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping (as‑is/to‑be), and impact analysis. Experience managing a band supporting change management initiatives. Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting. Highly Regarded Accounting qualifications (ACA/CPA) with financial statement preparation experience. Experience in both Technical (Data/IT) and Finance Business domains. Prior experience within government agencies or regulatory bodies. Agile project experience, including running stand‑ups or managing requirements boards.
