What you will do : Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organized and efficient workspace Take on hands‑on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher and handling cleaning chemicals Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation More about you : Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand Food Safety Certificate Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced environment Flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 7‑day a week roster Who we are : Melbourne Airport serves as a primary transportation hub in Australia, facilitating travel for millions of passengers each year.
