About The Role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) is looking for a Branch Manager, on a fixed‑term contract to lead operations and work closely with the Area Manager and wider NSW team. The McGrath’s Hill branch operates with a small, close‑knit team, allowing for a more hands‑on leadership approach and fostering strong team collaboration. As the Branch Manager you will showcase your sales and operations leadership skills to nurture sales performance, safety and operational efficiencies across an established and diverse customer base. This is a 6‑month contract position offering valuable exposure to the ARC Business and reinforcing industry, with potential career pathways and future opportunities across our wider business units. Responsibilities Oversee and deliver on the logistics, operations, administration and customer service targets of the site, while satisfying customer demands Deliver on branch and individual customer growth targets Drive revenue growth by providing high levels of external and internal customer service Analyse performance and promote continuous improvement opportunities including development planning sessions Ensure safety compliance and policies are followed on‑site and drive a proactive safety culture through the operational team Monitor and report on DIFOT results and any significant issues on achieving results Implement and embed strong process and communication standards for the planning, sales and operations team Qualifications Excellent communication skills Industry experience in sales and operations environment of a related manufacturing, distribution or warehousing establishment is preferred but not essential Passionate to achieve high customer outcomes Proven track record driving effective sales and operational processes Have had P&L responsibility, and experience monitoring and managing costs against targets Key Benefits Generous parental leave: 20 weeks paid Primary Carer Leave and 3 weeks paid Partner Leave for those who have worked at the business for at least 12 months.
