Work options Remote About the Role We are seeking a Data Migration Lead to join our team on a fixed-term, six-month contract. In this role you will oversee the end-to-end migration lifecycle, including scope definition, extraction, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, defect management, and cutover planning. You will work closely with internal analysts, business SMEs, SI Partners, and system owners to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose data is available at go‑live and beyond. Responsibilities Data Analysis & Mapping Assess source system structures (Salesforce & Sage) Define and document data mappings between source and target schemas (HubSpot, DealHub & Sage) Identify and address data quality issues before migration Develop and execute SQL‐based ETL scripts to move data between systems Leverage APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or native connectors) when applicable Handle data extractions from existing systems (Salesforce) Handle bulk data uploads into HubSpot and Sage environments Validate data post‑migration with reconciliation reports and spot checks Troubleshoot mismatches and performance issues in large data loads Support testing cycles (UAT, cutover, go‑live) Automate repetitive migration processes using scripting (Python, PowerShell, or equivalent) Optimize SQL queries for large dataset handling and performance Work closely with Implementation Consultants, CPQ Specialists, and ERP teams Provide technical input into integration design sessions between Salesforce, HubSpot, and Sage Support customer IT teams with pre‑migration readiness checks and sandbox validations What You’ll Bring Detail‑obsessed – notices data issues others miss Strong communicator who can bridge technical and business teams Methodical, structured, and calm under time pressure Takes ownership – if the data’s wrong, you fix it, not explain it away You’ll Also Bring Strong SQL skills – advanced query writing, data transformation, joins, performance tuning Proven experience delivering data migrations or integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, CPQ platforms, and Sage Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, or ETL tools Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ object models (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes, Contracts, Subscription, Product, Price Book) Knowledge of HubSpot object models Experience with Sage data structures – customers, invoices, GL accounts, products, contracts, sales orders etc. Competence in data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation Understanding of relational database design, foreign key relationships, and data dependencies Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell a plus Comfort working with both cloud‑hosted and on‑premise systems 3–5 years of experience in technical implementation, data migration, or data integration roles Direct experience in Salesforce CPQ, HubSpot Sales, DealHub CPQ, or Sage ERP projects Understanding of API integrations, middleware platforms, and ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Boomi) Exposure to AWS, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL environments Why You’ll Love Working Here At Quartex, we know even minor issues can lead to major problems in the industries we serve.
