Le Mans Entertainment is Australia's largest karting and entertainment venue. Located in Melbourne’s South‑East on a 23‑acre site, the facilities include 4 separate karting tracks, an EPIC 18‑hole mini‑golf course, arcade, beer garden, sports bar, laser tag, and the world’s best free‑roam virtual reality "Zero Latency". We sell fun and excitement and have an exciting opportunity to join our customer‑centric team on a casual basis. This role has the potential to be a hybrid where you will be part of the bar team as well as our hosting team. Job tasks and responsibilities Bar service to assist in delivering an excellent food and drink offering Serving drinks including RTDs, wine, tap beer and cocktails while following the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines Prepare and serve coffees Prepare easy take‑away café foods such as toasties Take food orders for the kitchen to prepare Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, and clear and clean tables between service Opening and closing of the bar/café area, including set‑up and pack‑up Host exclusive packages such as bucks groups, kids parties and/or corporate functions, ensuring they have the best Le Mans experience every time Manage groups of people and ensure that their event runs on time with no issues – this means problem‑solving with a smile Conduct trophy presentations, ensuring race results are delivered in a way that is as thrilling as the race itself Ensure guests meet the requirements of each activity and enforce safety standards Assist track staff in supervising the party’s races Cover all other areas of the business and fill in where required between parties Most of all, join the guests in having FUN Fantastic people skills and always provide a five‑star guest service experience with an ability to connect with everyone of all ages Previous experience in a bar environment Sense of urgency and ability to anticipate guests’ needs Effective time‑management skills and ability to multi‑task Adaptable – must have an ability to problem‑solve and think on your feet Comfortable with large groups of people and public speaking You take ownership and work on continuous improvement You are flexible and available outside of regular business hours, on weekends and during peak periods (Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is a must) You are well‑presented and take pride in the work you deliver Our responsibility is to deliver a memorable experience with a focus on Warm welcome Anticipatory service If this sounds like you, please apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
