About the Opportunity The Risk Manager plays a critical role and forms part of Tokio Marine’s second line of defence. The role is responsible for strengthening and embedding the operational risk management framework, supporting business objectives within Board approved risk appetite, and ensuring compliance with APRA and broader regulatory requirements. This position will partner closely with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, engaging directly with Executive Leadership, the CEO, and the Board Risk Committee. This position is a 12-month maximum term contract About You Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, or other relevant certifications as well (i.e. CA/CPA/CFA, professional risk certification) ANZIF certificates highly desirable Hold a minimum 7 years’ operational risk management experience in general insurance or financial services, having engaged with APRA and ASIC. Hands-on approach to delivery of risk objectives. Ability to effectively reporting to risk advice and reporting to Executive Leadership and the Board., as well as investigation and remediation of incidents and control failures. Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards (CPS 220, CPS 230), the Privacy Act, and ASIC regulatory requirements. Experience providing independent risk oversight for large-scale change or regulatory programs Have developed expertise in operational risk frameworks, controls, governance, and incident management. Experience with risk quantification, control libraries, KRIs, and risk data platforms (ERM), process improvements aligned to CPS 230 and managing regulatory change. What's in it for you?
