Catering to both domestic and international markets, Western Meat Packers has a long-standing legacy of ensuring a consistent range of quality meat products are delivered to our clients – consistently, efficiently, and reliably WMPG is currently looking for casual / fulltime container loader/General labourer. Reporting to the Cold Stores supervisor, you will be responsible for performing duties which include but are not limited to: Loading and unloading meat / meat boxes into truck/container by lifting, carrying and slinging the boxes into a stacked position Stacking the truck/sea container with meat boxes from the pallet Moving the pallet to appropriate locations within the truck Operating Electric Pallet Jack (training provided) About you Must be physically fit. Ability to manually load the containers repetitively. Able to work consistently and repetitively. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work 5 days a week – Monday to Friday from 07:00 am. Comfortable working in a chilled environment. Availability to work until the containers are finished. Finishing time will be variable depend on quantity of containers. Australian Work Rights. Ability to undergo pre‑employment medicals.
