We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Youngtown Pharmacy. This is a part-time role offering flexible working hours to support our busy pharmacy operations. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients. This is position is for approximately 30 hours a week during week days, with additional hours offered during other staff periods of annual leave/personal leave, for an early January start. What you'll be doing Accurately and efficiently processing prescriptions and over-the-counter medication requests Providing exceptional customer service by answering patient queries and offering product recommendations Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment Assisting the Pharmacist with various administrative and operational tasks Ensuring all pharmacy stock is properly stored and rotated Adhering to all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Co-ordinating and assisting with deliveries What we're looking for Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role within the healthcare industry (preferred but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team What we offer Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance Ongoing training and development opportunities Discounted healthcare products and services A friendly and supportive team environment About us Youngtown Pharmacy is a leading community pharmacy located in the heart of Youngtown, Tasmania.
